Sen. Lamar Alexander said Wednesday that bipartisan legislation to stabilize the Affordable Care Act health insurance markets in the short term could pass the Senate next month as part of a broader bill. The Tennessee Republican, who chairs the Senate Health, Education, Labor and Pensions Committee, predicted the legislation has a good chance of passing because more GOP lawmakers are coming to realize that something must be done to provide certainty to the Obamacare health insurance markets.
