Boston Medical Center Launches First Comprehensive Transgender Medical Center In Northeast
The journey lead to the creation of The Center for Transgender Medicine and Surgery at BMC, the first such comprehensive service in the Northeast. It brings together services the hospital has been building out for several years: primary care, hormone therapy and mental health support, as well as chest and facial reconstruction procedures.
