Kaisernetwork.org to Webcast World AIDS Day Events
On Friday, kaisernetwork.org will webcast the following three World AIDS Day events:
- "The UNAIDS World AIDS Day Observance -- AIDS: Men Make a Difference" -- Taking place at 10 a.m. and sponsored by UNAIDS, UNICEF, the U.N. Deparment of Public Information, the U.N. Population Fund and loveLife/The Henry J. Kaiser Family Foundation, in cooperation with the U.N. Development Program, this event features a town hall summit on changes in male attitudes and behaviors that could halt the spread of HIV/AIDS. Moderated by CNN anchor Riz Kahn, the town hall meeting will feature young men from the Kaiser Family Foundation's loveLife campaign, a major initiative in South Africa to raise HIV awareness and promote safer sex behaviors among youth in that country. The loveLife campaign has been named a designated project of Netaid.org, an online philanthropic partnership between the UNDP and Cisco Systems, Inc.
