WebMD To Host Web Chat Tomorrow on Circumcision Pros and Cons
WebMD tomorrow will host a live Web chat, titled "Circumcision: Benefit or Assault?" to discuss the medical and legal aspects of the "billion-dollar industry" of infant circumcision. Proponents of the procedure say that the "minor" surgery has long term benefits and cite scientific evidence showing that circumcised men may be protected from HIV infection and other diseases. Opponents of the procedure, however, say that circumcision "violates an individual's body" and can lead to reduced sexual pleasure. To join the chat, which begins Thursday, Jan. 25, at 1:00 p.m. EST, enter
