Secretary of State Colin Powell to Discuss HIV/AIDS With Officials on Visit to Bahamas Next Week
The State Department yesterday announced that Secretary of State Colin Powell will visit the Bahamas next Monday to discuss with Bahamian officials "regional issues," including HIV/AIDS prevention, Reuters reports. The officials also will discuss drug smuggling, illegal migration and financial reform (Reuters, 8/7).
