Washington Post Profiles AIDS Awareness Trip to Africa by Gates Sr., Carter

In an effort to focus attention on AIDS prevention, the two men "zigzagg[ed]" across Africa -- spending time in South Africa, Central African Republic, Nigeria, Namibia, Angola and Kenya -- to promote condom use, distribute grant funds, and "plead" for more action on HIV/AIDS from governments. The article is available online (DeYoung, Washington Post, 4/14).This is part of the KHN Morning Briefing, a summary of health policy coverage from major news organizations.
