NPR’s ‘Talk of the Nation/Science Friday’ to Discuss Efforts to Fight HIV/AIDS, Malaria
The first hour of NPR's "Talk of the Nation/Science Friday" today will include a discussion of efforts to fight the spread of HIV and malaria, as well as the XIV International AIDS Conference, which begins on Sunday in Barcelona, Spain. Guests will be David Alnwick, project manager for the World Health Organization's Roll Back Malaria Program; Stephen Hoffman, senior vice president of Immunotherpaeutics Celera Genomics; John Stover, vice president of The Futures Group International; and Dyann Wirth, director of the Harvard Malaria Initiative.
