Philadelphia Inquirer Series Profiles Life of Recovering Drug User, Person Living With AIDS Kevin Holloman
The Philadelphia Inquirer yesterday began a series, titled "Kevin's Journey," following Kevin Holloman, a recovering drug user who is living with AIDS. According to the Inquirer, at least one-third of the more than 10,000 people living with AIDS in the Philadelphia area have an addiction problem. The series portrays Holloman in his daily life, attending counseling sessions, taking his antiretroviral medications and teaching children's dance lessons (Fleming, Philadelphia Inquirer, 11/24).
