Kaisernetwork.org Releases Video Feature on HIV/AIDS in Thailand; Fourth in Series on HIV/AIDS Worldwide
For the first time ever, the International AIDS Conference will be held in a developing country in Asia, many parts of which are considered the next frontier in the HIV/AIDS pandemic. A new video feature from kaisernetwork.org -- prepared by Fred de Sam Lazaro, who also is a correspondent for the "NewsHour with Jim Lehrer" -- includes interviews with people on the frontlines of the fight against HIV/AIDS in the host nation, Thailand. The video is the fourth in a series of spotlights from kaisernetwork.org on local efforts around the world to treat and prevent HIV/AIDS. The other features -- which examine HIV/AIDS in Haiti, Brazil and India -- also are available online (kaisernetwork.org, 6/28).
