Upcoming CBS, UPN Shows To Incorporate HIV/AIDS Themes Into Plotlines
-
CBS and UPN: During the April 5 episode of UPN's "America's Next Top Model," an HIV-positive young woman will talk to the aspiring models about HIV/AIDS and the importance of being an advocate for an important cause. On April 13, CBS' "Without a Trace" will examine the case of a pregnant HIV-positive woman who disappears in the last weeks of her pregnancy. These two programs were developed as part of the KNOW HIV/AIDS public education initiative -- a joint venture of CBS and Viacom, in partnership with the Kaiser Family Foundation (KNOW HIV/AIDS release, 4/4).
