GlobalHealthFacts.org Adds 40 New Indicators for Topics Including HIV/AIDS
New data, GlobalHealthFacts.org: GlobalHealthFacts.org has added 40 new indicators to country-level data on topics including HIV/AIDS. The new data -- which is displayed in tables, charts and color-coded maps and can be downloaded for custom analyses -- includes antiretroviral therapy coverage in low- and middle-income countries; the number of people receiving HIV/AIDS treatment through the Global Fund To Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria and the President's Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief; PEPFAR funding allocations and Global Fund disbursements for HIV/AIDS programs; and contraceptive prevalence. Globalhealthfacts.org, operated by the Kaiser Family Foundation, provides access to a range of global health information for all countries in the world, including key indicators for AIDS, tuberculosis, and malaria (Kaiser Family Foundation release, 10/16).
