Guide Seeks To Help Hospital Leaders Address Health Care Disparities, Improve Quality, Equity
"Improving Quality and Achieving Equity: A Guide for Hospital Leaders," Massachusetts General Hospital's Disparities Solutions Center: The guide -- funded by the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation -- aims to highlight evidence of racial and ethnic health care disparities and means for addressing them, focusing specifically on quality, costs, risk management and accreditation. The guide uses four case-based examples of each focus area to show how to address, improve quality and achieve equity in health care disparities. The guide also highlights ways to address inequities and recommends strategies and resources that might help hospital leaders establish an agenda to take action.
