American Society For Microbiology Postpones Interscience Conference on Antimicrobial Agents and Chemotherapy
The American Society for Microbiology has postponed the 41st Interscience Conference on Antimicrobial Agents and Chemotherapy, originally scheduled to take place Sept. 22-25 in Chicago, until Dec. 16-19, according to an ASM release. ASM had hoped to hold the conference as scheduled, but the "uncertainties concerning the availability of safe, scheduled air travel" following the terrorist attacks on New York and the Pentagon "force[d]" the postponement of the conference until December. The rescheduled conference will be in Chicago (ASM release, 9/20).
