CORRECTION
The Kaiser Daily HIV/AIDS Report incorrectly reported on Friday that the federal government's fiscal year 2002 expenditure for the AIDS Drug Assistance Program was $1 billion. In fact, federal spending for ADAP in FY 2002 is only $639 million (Kaiser Family Foundation, "Spending on the HIV/AIDS Epidemic: Trends in U.S. Spending on HIV/AIDS," July 2002).
