President Bush is scheduled to host former South African President Nelson Mandela at the White House on May 17 to discuss fighting HIV/AIDS in Africa, AFP/Yahoo! News reports (AFP/Yahoo! News, 5/12). Bush and Mandela also plan to discuss the efforts of the Nelson Mandela Foundation, which promotes social development among African youth and universal education on the continent (White House release, 5/12).
